Starting Pay: $16.00/hr

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00a - 5:30p

 

Overview

As a full-time position at Landmark Snacks, a translator will be able to effectively communicate both verbal and written instructions in both English and Spanish. They will be working throughout the plant in all production areas to ensure all employees are trained in accordance with our policies and procedures.  There will be additional translation required for plant meetings, orientations, and safety investigations. Most will be verbal translation, however, there will also be written translation required.  The translator will work with managers and supervisors, along with the Safety and Human Resource departments to ensure all employees understand the requirements, SOPs, and can demonstrate to ensure consistency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proper and consistent training in a timely manner

  Facilitate effective communication between English and Spanish speaking employees

• Translate company documents from English to Spanish

• Assist all production areas and support the safety culture 

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, & communication skills in both English and Spanish languages

• Effective time management skills

• Ability to operate and learn how to operate production equipment

• Prior experience in translating is preferred, but not required
