Maintenance Technician: Electrician Focused - First or Second Shift

A qualified individual would have knowledge and experience working with PLC’s, HMI’s, and various control circuits in multiple voltages.  This individual would be able to troubleshoot electrical issues across multiple types of machines and be comfortable working with 220 and 480V – 3 phase circuits.  While electrical-based work would be the primary focus, the qualified individual would be expected to work across all areas of maintenance in our meat processing facility as necessary being part of the team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves

  • Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.

  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks

  • Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and the alignment and leveling of equipment.

  • Maintain minimal production downtime and solutions to reduce downtime

  • Keeps work environment clean and safe
