Human Resources Assistant

Shift Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm; Monday - Friday 


As a human resource assistant, you will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of Landmark Snack’s human resource department.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

  • Provide clerical support to the HR department.

  • Conduct new hire interviews.

  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.

  • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation.

  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in human resources is preferred, but not required.

  • An Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
