Director of Finance
Overview
Landmark Snacks has had rapid growth since the beginning. This would not be possible without our amazing team members and strong leadership. We are looking for a Director of Finance to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our rapidly growing company. As the Director of Finance, you’ll monitor the company’s financial status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities

Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and working with outside accountants on Reviewed Financial Statements and Tax Returns

Oversee all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and other accounting functions

Oversee daily cash management and projected cash needs

Risk management - work with insurance carriers to ensure adequate coverage

Manage all office staff and functions, including human resources

Manage external audits

Review and manage company contracts

Improve cost analysis and find ways to reduce costs and improve the bottom line

Work with the plant manager to develop additional operating metrics

Assist owners in developing future plans for capital expenditures and staffing for future growth
Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Minimum 5-10 years experience in accounting/finance

Experience with financial reporting requirements

Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis

Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting

Exemplary history of financial project management
