Maintenance Technician - Any Shift

Performs repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include, but not limited to: stuffers, vacuum pumps, mixers, grinders, packaging machinery, conveyors, and ovens.  Ideal candidates must be willing to work off-shift hours, overtime, and be on call as needed.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Installs replacement belts, filters, gears, chains, and valves

  • Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.

  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks

  • Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas, and the alignment and leveling of equipment.

  • Maintain minimal production downtime and solutions to reduce downtime

  • Keeps work environment clean and safe

  • The plant environment can be very cold and very hot (non-weather related) at different times.

  • Noise level is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area - earplugs are required.
