Core Responsibilities

  • Timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and working with outside accountants on Reviewed Financial Statements and Tax Returns

  • Oversee all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other accounting functions

  • Oversee daily cash management and projected cash needs

  • Risk management - work with insurance carriers to ensure adequate coverages

  • Oversee human resources staff and functions

  • Improve cost analysis and find ways to reduce costs and improve the bottom line

  • Work with plant manager to develop additional operating metrics and monitor same

  • Assist owners in developing future plans for capital expenditures and staffing for future growth

Ideal candidate will have bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
